Can Traveler work on a Domino box that is set to use IIS, instead of Domino's native http engine?

Background: We're going from Blackberry 5 (where the BB server software and Domino HAVE to be on the same box) to BES10 (where the BB software just needs to use Traveler for the ActiveSync capabilities). I'd like to have a single-server solution for the version 10 setup, like I do for version 5. We don't actually use Traveler, so I'm clueless on it's workings/configuration. BES10 calls for IIS, so that leads me to the question above.
